From Our Founder
CEA was built by Carmen Douglas, founder of the Laser Location clinic. Every course is taught the way she runs her own treatment rooms: proper consultations, honest advice, and standards an insurer will recognise.
That means you learn what actually happens with real clients — the consultations, the patch tests, the awkward questions — because your training room is next door to a working clinic, and your educators treat paying clients every week.

Before You Enrol

Most of our courses have no prerequisites — you can start from zero. The exception is VTCT Level 4 Laser, which needs a Level 3 underpinning; if you don't have one, the Ultimate Laser programme or our Access to Aesthetics course gets you there.
Yes. Our VTCT courses are nationally regulated qualifications, and our CPD certificates are insurance-ready with specialist aesthetics insurers. Every course is designed so you can get insured and start practising.
You complete the theory online through our e-learning platform — reading, videos and written assignments at your own pace — then come into the academy for your practical training, observations and assessments. Less time off work, more hands-on time when you're here.
At our academy at 399 Rochdale Road, Bury — right beside the working Laser Location clinic. You train on professional machines in a real treatment environment, with free private parking on site.
No — models are provided for training and assessments. If you'd prefer to bring someone, just let us know in advance.
Each course is secured with a deposit (£100–£500 depending on the course). Deposits are non-refundable but fully transferable to another date with at least 2 weeks' notice.
Yes. Some courses offer a machine package, and we connect graduates with trusted equipment suppliers — professional machines start from around £4,000.
Ongoing support doesn't stop at certification. We stay available for treatment questions, help with insurance and equipment, and guidance on setting up your business — and when you're ready to grow further, there's a progression route all the way to teaching.
Black uniform or scrubs, full-length trousers and closed-toe flat shoes, with hair tied back and minimal jewellery. Training days run 10am–6pm with an hour for lunch.
